Treasurer's report on the 2000 accounts of S D (Britain)

Your Trustees offer their grateful thanks for the support given by Subud members during the year 2000. Donations were regular and plentiful.

Income
We are fortunate to have had a record income during 2000.This  has come from three sources (see chart below  for details)
1.        From members and our investments - £63,730 (£54,200 from members alone)
2.        From the National Lottery Charities Board  - £35,700 used solely for our  project in Kalimantan.
3.    From the Department for International Development(DFID) - £10,000 for Mithra

Total income was  88% more than in 1999. Our sources of income are shown in the chart below.

Expenditure
Ninety two percent  of  our total income  was  used to support S D projects in Congo, India, Colombia, Ukraine and elsewhere.
Administration  costs were 6% and  the cost of the  S. D. Lewes Conference in March plus donations  to non-Subud causes (members requests) made up the balance.

Investments
The value of our investments at £114,000  has, disappointingly, remained static during the year though there has been a  29% increase in value since purchase in mid-1997. Dividends this year show  a return of 3.2% on value.
